The five Iranian suspects believed to have been
involved in the botched bombings on Sukhumvit Soi 71 in Bangkok on Feb
14 will be tried in the Criminal Court, Pol Gen Pansiri Prapawat, a
deputy police chief, said on Sunday.
He said the Foreign Ministry, the Office of the Attorney-General, and Royal Thai Police Office had also sent additional documented evidence to Malaysia to complete a request for it to extradite Masoud Sedaghatzadeh, one of the suspects, who was arrested by Malaysian authorities in Kuala Lumpur on Feb 15.
The Malaysian court will decide on April 16 whether to extradite the suspect to Thailand, he said.
