The transport operators will call off their
protest after they have been informed of the result of talks between
their representatives and the government, Land Transport Federation of
Thailand chairman Yoo Jienyuenyongpong said on Monday evening.
He said the government's explanation was acceptable. The transport operators only wanted the government to consult them first before taking any measures which could affect their operations.
Moreover, the government should make sure that after the price increase there would be sufficient supply of NGV.
Mr Yoo said he would inform the transport operators of the result of the talks and call off the protest.
